Solve a puzzle using quick draw
Number Save Puzzle is a free game in which the player uses their ingenuity and imagination to solve puzzles by drawing on the screen. Draw a line in the right place, and your character will be saved, but a wrong move will lead to disaster.
The game uses the same formula as Draw 2 Save: Stickman Puzzle, Dog vs Bee: Draw to Save, and many other apps. This time, the characters are numbers, although this is simply a design element. The puzzles are not based on mathematics.
Find the right place for the line
Each puzzle in Number Save Puzzle opens with a character hovering over a deadly trap. These traps range from a pit of spikes to a chomping shark. The player must draw a line on the screen that will prevent the character from falling to their doom. If you succeed, you'll move to the next level.
Simple puzzles
The puzzles follow the same basic pattern, although later levels include additional objects to add variety, such as trampolines. Traps also become more strange. You might end up saving your character from a man with a spear. If you get stuck, you can skip levels or obtain hints by watching adverts. In practice, though, the puzzles tend to be easy.
A few shortcomings
Number Save Puzzle suffers from a glitch in that the game will sometimes freeze after you've cleared a level, requiring you to restart the app. Another shortcoming is the lack of unlockable features. Although finishing levels will get you more gems, there is nothing to spend these on.
Straightforward brainteasing for kids
Number Save Puzzle is fairly easy and simple compared to other games in its genre. This means that it will be an appropriate title for small children. However, its habit of glitching up after levels will be off-putting for many, regardless of the player's age.
